They can't possibly have a 4th singer - they must know that a 4th singer would be career suicide. But it sounds like the DLR thing is not happening at all now. btw, does anybody remember the Val comment that VH were waiting for DLR to call them??? Either she was mis-informed or we are dealing with some extremely stubborn people here!

I can believe that Van Halen is in the studio. Whether someone is in there providing lead vocals, that is another story. For awhile, I was believing that Dave was with Van Halen but now...I'm leaning towards that he isn't. The only thing keeping me sane, is Dave keeping quiet. Nothing major coming out of his camp.

Something in my gut tells me that VH3 was the farewell for them.

This is just taking too long, are they waiting for someone to free themself from their current band to be the next singer?

Sorry Ed, but if you were looking for sympathy and understanding from your fans. I can't give it to you. Cancer sucks, I know but the time is now to pick up the ball and run, Call Dave and tell him the time is NOW for ending their bickering and to GROW UP.

I know that the people from Denmark, Norway, Sweden & Finland (I am 1/2 the latter) are very stubborn people, but if you still want Van Halen to continue, you NEED Dave.
If your heart is no longer in it, just tell us and we'll move on.

who gives a shit if there is another singer. van halen's music will be the lasting factor when all is said and done. who knows, what if they get a young gun (fan) and the album is awesome, will all those who are saying its dave or the grave be going elsewhere....i think not. if so, good luck to you and leave the music for the rest of us....its only rock and roll. get over it.

Actually, at this point in the game, I'd take a instrumental album. Think about it, Ed, Al, and Mike jammin their asses off without vocals....Not a bad idea. After all, isn't it about the music anyways?
