What is gonna happen ?
How will you take it ?
I thinks its gonna make alot of mad fans EVH: Definitely. Playing guitar was my sanctuary. It was the one place I could go to if I got fucked around by a girlfriend, or anyone else, for that matter. It still is. If there’s something I can’t deal with, I can just spend hours playing. It’s a God-given gift – I certainly don’t know where the ideas come from. They’re obviously given to you, and you have to keep your fingers moving and your mind quiet. I try my best to not think about thinking, so I can just let it flow. Because when I start thinking, forget it. <br />So....why he isn't playing guitar ? ? ?

Hey Ed,
Hope you are well. I think the catalog speaks for itself don`t you? I myself will enjoy the plethora of stuff available, twist one up and remember the shows in Winnipeg, Regina and all of the other Canadian dates I was able to witness during the 70s 80s and 90s. Fuck all of the whiners out there who act like both tesicles never decended and they never will get pubes.
Be strong and try and make it happen
Peace
Mook

Not as mad as being led around by the balls. It's not knowing which has my hopes up. If they announce it I will be sad but relieved at the same time. There's nothing worse than false hope.

To be honest I think they have already given us their best and that's good enough for me. Tons of great music to rotate in the old cd player and a bunch of people here to BS about it

I don't think we'll ever get an announcement about the band. Whatever is going to happen is going to happen. I think it's sad the way they went out if this is it, but Van Halen wouldn't be the first band to disintegrate this way. I'd be more upset to hear something bad about Edward the person rather than the band.
Everything changes. There's a beginning and an end. It would be wonderful if you could freeze Van Halen in 1980 or Led Zeppelin in 76, the Stones in 72, but that's what the recordings are for. You'll always have them.Could this be magic?

I think we'll do the same thing we do know. Bitch about them not getting bach together and giving it one more try. I honestly think people will always do that untill, God forbid, one of them dies. People accept Zepplin as done because Bonham's dead. The same can now be said about the Who and a host of others.

The Beatles in their infinite wisdom realized that things were coming to an end. Instead of being so full of themselves as they easily could have done, they realized that Let it Be wasn't good enough to go out on. So they went back into the studio and recorded what I consider their best work in Abbey Road. (Please, noone call me moron saying that Let it be was their swan song, it was released last but recorded before Abbey Road). Ed and Co. could take a lesson from them. IF it is the end, Don't let it end the way it has been for the last 5 years. Get every member of VH back in the studio(even gary to prove III was a fluke) Record NEW music, Announce that it is the end and move on. Whether it is a one disc, two, three or whatever. Put out one last recording as a thank you to all the fans who supported and loved you. We would be happy and so would your pocket books. Then go off and do whatever it is that they want to do. Although VH does not owe anyone anything, it would be good for them to do it for their fans if for no other reason.
Those that say money cannot buy hapiness don't know where to shop.

Great fucking post Baddman! Do something or announce that it's over! Stop this indecisive bullshit! I'd rather they announce retirement tomorrow then just wait and wait with absolutely no information whatsoever.
Eddie is coming off looking like an asshole in the current scenario. And many people I know beleive that he is washed up.

Much respect etc but this is not the kind of info we all want (i think) or really should be entitled to, and I would rather wait it out a bit. Ed doesn't look like an arsehole so much as an enigma. And sometimes an enigma that we should show some humanity for. respect anyway and we all understand.

Yes. He was a mobster wannabe. He also thought he'd be seen as a hero to the American public. That didn't happen.
