Well just the tempo or speed of the progression throughout the tune plus I think there both kinda of the shorter songs of their respective albums. The solo might even be similar but haven't keyed in on it.

You know I just this live TFB back in 80 somethin but they compared also when played live. I heard BFM live on balance tour.

I dunno, there just both swingin' type progressions. Very fast and cool ...

I don't know nearly enough about music theory to do anything other than listen. To me they're pretty different songs, but I may be looking at them differently than you, Eyes.

I like Big Fat Money, although it's a song that takes a lot of flak. BUT, The Full Bug is a million times better in every respect.

I'd give this one to the Full Bug. But that's like my favorite Van Halen song period so, I'm biased.

As for Big Fat Money, honestly, I think Extreme's Play With Me is more similiar to BFM than TFB. But that's just me.

I do like BFM, sort of. If it were an instrumental, it would be one of my favorites - the screech just grates on my nerves. Eddie's solo smokes, as usual - kind of polyrhythmic, sort of Vai-ish (not that Ed copies Vai, not by any stretch).
