House of Pain is key. Do you have "5150" in your mix? I heard it on the radio the other day and that song is ballsy--
one of my chief complaints with any of the Sammy stuff is that I think his voice and phrasing competes with Eddie, but if you listen to "5150" with headphones, it's pretty obvious that it's a guitar-driven song. It's my favorite from that album.
I also dig your inclusion of "Finish What Ya Started"--also a good song. Maybe end one of the CDs with "Black and Blue"--which is a stompfest if there ever was one. love, betty(pretty smile)

the key to my version of Van Halen's greatest hits is that I consider them three seperate and not equal bands. If you want a greatest hits from Van Hagar, mine would be like...
5150, Black And Blue, Summer Nights, Cabo Wabo, Crossing Over, Humans Being, Aftershock, Don't Tell Me ( What Love Can Do ), Pouncake, Judgement Day, The Dream Is Over, Best Of Both Worlds, Finish What You Started, and Get Up, and I might even give a nod to the live version of Sammy's song One Way To Rock. I think on Van Hagar's B.O. vol. h.o.p. the key is heavier stuff, with the exception of Summer Nights and Finish What You Stareted. I might throw Big Fat Money on it, but usually get annoyed listening to Sammy.
The VH3 Compilation......geez.......
Once, Year To The Day, VH3 live Humans Being, live Mean Street, live Somebody Get Me A Dcotor ( with Mikey's vox ), Without You, Fire In The Hole. That would seriously be about it. Beliecve it or not, I don't despise the Gary era as much as I do the Sammy era. See the Sammy era could have been decent, I mean they did have some good songs, they just caved in and bowed down to the 1980s cheese ballad garbage, and got the MTV generation brainwashed.Eat Us And Smile!
