Star Trek: The Final Frontier on MGM+

They showed the whole series already but I'm watching this one right now. Lawrence Luckinbill really pulls it off as a modern day prophet. What makes him even more effective is that he's related to Spock!

The bones were there for a good movie, but they didn't just double down on the comedy aspect from STIV, they quadrupled down on it, and it was just a hokey mess. Combine that with a first time director in Shatner, and it is just bad.

There are a couple good scenes in the movie, but that is about it.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Wolfs on Apple (?) George CLooney and Brad Pitt and their Clooniest and Pittiest. I liked it tho. They definitely left it open for a sequel which I understand is in the works

Pretty good shoot em up and race cars thru deserted streets kind of thing. If you liked Oceans movies you will like this.

DD, oh yeah Final Frontier had it's cringeworthy moments, like Kirk falling off the cliff in Yosemite. Seeing him fall was hilarious as it was so phony with just plain bad CGI. Man, was it a horrible mistake letting Shatner direct!

“Heartbreakers Beach Party”. Some of the footage didn’t blow up on screen too well, but not a lot, which is surprising seeing as this was made for our 25” tvs or whatever the popular choice was back then. I actually had seen some of the footage on a VHS tape I have called “A Bunch Of Videos And Some Other Stuff”. Nice little documentary Crowe made back in the day - nothing groundbreaking but so sweet to see everyone so young (and Tom and Howie alive)
