Understatement to write, they just don’t write them like that anymore

Just watched it on YT. If it’s the car/bike chase, you’re referring to...

The sequence starts on St. Catharine’s Street in Montreal (there is no Victoria Secret shop at the corner of Yonge/Dundas or any corner on Yonge) and ends in NYC, mate. Plus, I just know that Victoria Secret shop is in Montreal from having been there.

Doesn’t matter though. I just geek out on filming locations, especially when they're up here. Still can’t wait to see the entire flick.

Too complicated to even enjoy. Also needed subtitles just to even begin to understand the dialog pertaining to the plot.

Basically a sci-fi James Bond flick... Kenneth Branagh even did the mandatory evil villain must explain his twisted plot in great, drawn out detail. Lol.

Totally unimpressed with John David Washington? in the lead. Dude was a wet noodle, but Pattinson was pretty good and so was Taylor-Johnson with the limited time they gave him.

Nolan still sucks balls with fight scenes.

    Cry Macho

The wife and I went to the theater, which in and of itself was great. We love going to the cinema, always have, up until Corona it was our go to night out.

The movie itself, was a good Clint Eastwood film.

Looking forward to seeing that. Clint is still the Man.

We love going to the cinema, too. Took my boy to Godzilla vs Kong and took my older daughter to Peter Rabbit 2 this summer for some Father/kid time. It was definitely fun to get back into a theater. Especially a large bucket of popcorn with extra butter.

She got the popcorn, I can’t have any after the Heart Attack…really watching my sodium, I got the unsalted pretzel and an orange soda (no caffeine either)

Yeah, good call for you. Sorry to hear about your heart attack, but glad you are still with us! My grandpa had I believe 3 or 4 heart attacks in his lifetime. Stroke finally did him in when he was 67.

Saw the trailer for this last week and my first though was, ”Its time to hang em’ up, Clint...”

You’re 91. It was believable in Gran Torino, 13 years ago.

But seeing a frail old man beat up somebody more than half their age, just looks goofy to me.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it and the night out, though. I’ll be seeing Many Saints in a few weeks in our local VIP theatre. Cannot wait.

I’m all good now, heart is 100% healed.

Back to running, playing tennis and just got cleared to start lifting again..gonna start back up next week.

Running at a faster pace than before the heart attack

Tennis, my timing is still off, but its coming back

Gonna take it slow at the gym, no going for glory….but I’ve been past that for a few decades

The heart attack was according to my Dr a one in a million, my BP is good, my cholesterol is low…I’ve kept myself in shape…eat right (now even more so)

I just had some arterial plaque come loose (for whatever reason) and it blocked an artery and my blood clotted.

No family history of heart problems…literally just one of those things

Greenland. It was barely ok, I think they covered every cliche in an end of the world movie, struggling marriage, kid with a medical condition, an old crotchety parent that won't try to evacuate. Not bad but wouldn't watch again

I felt the same way about it. And of course they're making a sequel.
