Can choose new releases and classic titles.

I haven't been there yet, looks nice by the pics I've seen. There are many movies I can stream and am ok with. But some movies just aren't the same at home and really require a theater experience.
There weren't any new ones I cared about and I have had BTF on Blu Ray and now 4k HDR, and I watch them a lot. To finally see the original on the big screen will be a lot of fun.

This is funny because I get upset when people spend utt money on stupid shit and put themselves on the radar. As an adult last night watching that car on the freeway dumping it's trunk... I wanted to punch Michael Keaton. Lol!

Ron Howard had an epic touch on small budgets that stand time's test.

I don’t think they could’ve created a better car for Blazejowski even if they tried. It was everything Chuck told him not to do... classic movie.

    Promising Young Woman

A twisted, dark comedy...I think. At one point, the film could've ended and it would have been a nice romantic comedy tied up with a bow at the end. But, then it went to full on drama. I liked it, kept me interested.
Carey Mulligan deserved her Oscar nom.
Lot of familiar faces with minor roles in this film, including Clancy Brown (bad guard in Shawshank). He played Mulligan's father. Weird seeing him play the reserved, nice-guy dad. lol

    Look at that trunk!!

Reminds me of my 1976 Ford LTD. You could put an entire cheerleading squad in the trunk.

In my early 20's, I had a big brown '73 Cadillac CDV I bought off a co-worker for about $1,000. That fucker was so big, I could fit a queen size mattress in the trunk. We used to sneak several friends in the trunk for drive-in movies. I could comfortably sleep on the front or back bench seat despite being 6 feet tall. While at a concert, someone used probably a screwdriver to scratch "FUCK U" in giant letters across the hood. I never got it painted over.

So we did our Back to the Future theater rental and it was a good time.

One thing that made me snap my head, and I have seen these movies a million times, but I had ordered some fun masks for work, including a BTTF one that says, in the title font, "You are my density," and I wore it to the theater.

But that's NOT what George says. He says, "I am your density." And I looked around online and this seems to be one of those weird misquotes that we do, whether it's "Play it again, Sam" (Play it, Sam, play 'As Time Goes By'), "Mirror mirror on the wall..." (Magic mirror on the wall), "Luke, I am your father" (No. I am your father), or "If you build it they will come" (If you build it, he will come).

Yeah, you can buy some BTTF "I am your density" stuff, but the more plentiful quote is the wrong one.

Anyone have a theory as to why, over time, these quotes get bastardized?

Q: who was the biggest douche that you have worked with?

A: Eddie Van Halen hands down he threatened all the stage hands that if we wernt all pushed to the side when he got off stage that he would "bash our faces in"

Now the new David-Lee-Roth-Van Halen album, “Tokyo Dome In Concert,” is available for purchase, and it’s super, super, super, super, super, super, crazy bad. - Doug Elfman

I would think that, in some cases, the quote gets bastardized in another project and THAT becomes the popular 'new' quote. I could be wrong and probably am, but I believe something like "Luke, I am your father," has been re-quoted dozens of times in other films, shows, etc. I'm pretty certain that it was used in the show Cheers, for instance. And adding "Luke" makes it unmistakable that it's taken from Star Wars, gives it some context as if it needed it at the time. The same thing could have happened with "If you build it..." That damn line was reiterated so many times. If in just one of those reiterations they used 'they' instead of 'he' to make it more applicable, and that new project became popular, voila, you have a new quote that goes out to the masses.

Similar scenarios may have happened with the others before they took on a life of their own. Can't think of any examples off the top of my head, though.

Watched Greenland which is about a extinction level comet hitting earth and a family is trying to make their way to safety. Actually wasn't too bad. Not like other disaster type movies where its all about the action with a lot of CGI.
