The most shocking scene in the movie: that poor scientist getting killed in the forest by that damn alien. I wish I could have been there with my Winchester and blown it's fucking head off!

I got this movie on DVD. It's super under-rated! I liked it a lot.

YR, I also love it! I usually don't like Cage but he was great in this. I especially loved Rose Byrne and her little mini-me. It's always nice seeing her do a serious role, even if she has to die.

I love Nic Cage as an actor one of his most underrated movies and one of my favorites of his is "Red Rock West". Directed by John Dahl. If you have never seen it check it out.

Nicolas Cage gets compared to Keanu Reeves for good reason. Great actors that show no emotion or aren't capable of showing emotion. In other words, lifeless in their roles. They do the job necessary but nothing else.

The subway crash and especially the commercial jet crash scene are extremely well done.

Didn't care for the latest Quiet Place movie.

I enjoyed the first 2. But moving it to the city wasn't the right move. Feel like NYC in peril on screen has been done too many times.

TB, it's a very haunting film. And I love the biblical aspect of it. Are they aliens or angels? They were using Ezekiel's Wheels so maybe they were both. I'm already burned out on zombie apocalypses but Knowing has become one of my fave end-of-the-world movies that I've seen in a long time.

I've been meaning to watch A Quiet Place for years now. Think I'll watch it this weekend. Don't know anything about it which is good. People seem to like it.

Probably watch Knowing too. Thanks links for the suggestions.

Escape from Pretoria (2020) Starring Daniel Radcliffe

Pretty good prison movie with lots of tense moments. This movie was based on a true story, but I wasn't familiar with the real people involved, and for me, I think the movie worked better the less I knew about the details and the outcome.

This movie came out during the pandemic, so I think it may have gotten overlooked.

Watched the new documentary on John Williams that came out on Disney+.

Amazing in how many great pieces of his music are in films. He has to be one of the greatest composers in my lifetime.
