You're not gonna believe this but I've been saying that line for over 30 years.

    Halloween Kills

Total gorefest! Michael seemed a little bit angrier in this one.

Other than that, an hour and forty-five minute turd. You think you’re done but it keeps rolling and rolling.

Can’t complain. Free stream on Peacock

He would be correct although I believe this is a trilogy so I guess next year… same time-same shit!

I saw this was on Peacock and was planning a film fest with H 1978, H 2018 and H Kills.

I haven't seen H '78 for years and years on 80's cable and am curious how it holds up for me and how these reboot/sequels play off the original opposed to all the other shit released over the years.

Never been into the slasher genre so almost all of these films are off my radar and I never even knew they got made.

I still like the original. It’s probably considered lame by today’s standards but that’s ok for me. Less seems to be better.

HK is great in terms of cinematography and gore. The story is terrible but it’s also the middle of the trilogy so I’m guessing Halloween Ends will be the best or worst depending on the script. I have a feeling that it’s going to have a lot of Jamie Lee Curtis in it and that gets old. Also, forgot to mention that Anthony Michael Hall is totally keyed up in HK. Dude looks like he’s ready to blow a valve in nearly every screen. Ha-Ha!

Maybe I should Just watch Cry Macho on it's last two days on HBOmax. That looks a lot more scarier.

Yeah, I was excited to see this one. Not as good as the 2018 movie. Interesting flashbacks to 1978, though. But you can't expect too much from these movies. lol
    .
I watched it on Friday night. Wife was mad I saw it without her. So I watched the '18 film and HK (a 2nd time) last night with her. LOL Honestly, I was disappointed after the first viewing. But after watching H-2018 and HK back-to-back, the sequel wasn't as bad. And, like you said, free stream on peacock. Still not sure why they did that. I probably would've gone to the theater to see it.

They start filming Halloween Ends soon and that'll be the end of this trilogy. Blumhouse says they're open to making more beyond that one, though. Why not? They're cheap to make and, so far, these have been making $$.

That’s funny because I ended watching it again with my wife and it’s not that bad. It’s predictable as hell but it is polished—similar to Friday the 13th (2009). I told my wife that I couldn’t stand Jamie Lee Curtis and how she became Sarah Connor. She told me to “shut the hell up and stop thinking.” It worked! Ha-Ha!

Did Danny McBride have a cameo? I thought they would sneak him in somewhere…

So, I signed up for the Peacock free streaming shit. It's not letting me watch the newest Halloween movie. It says that I need the premium service.
    Just go for it!

I’m only getting the premium tier because I’m a xfinity customer. I think it’s included in your account.

Brew, do you have xfinity? peacock is 'free' for xfinity customers. I was actually expecting commercials with the new Halloween movie, because the 'free' version has them, but fortunately there weren't any.

No, I don't. I gladly cut the cord a couple of years ago. I only stream...specifically on HULU. It is not free on Peacock though.
    Just go for it!
