Jungle Cruise...just as bad as I thought it'd be. Entire family was not happy with it.

Red Notice...eh, it was ok. Gal Gadot is really nice to look at. Reynolds is his usual wiseass self. It's fun, brainless entertainment. But would it kill Hollywood to give the brain some entertainment too?

    The Eternals

    It was ok.

I did fall asleep in it a couple times (so it didn't pass the dad test), but Kumail's character and his valet were damn funny.

The after credits scene ties the Blade universe into Marvel.

Wind River..solid movie. Cowboy murder mystery. Had to turn captioning on as Jeremy Renner was doing some mumbling accent.

Also saw Knives Out over thanksgiving, another good show..I think that's the the only non Bond movie I've seen Craig in, he was great..another weird accent
    Dealing with it.

Craig was pretty good in the remake of "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo."

Daniel Craig is great in Defiance, solid WWII movie.

Craig also had a supporting role in Spielberg's "Munich." That was pre-Bond. Good movie.

I agree on REd Notice. It was fun, in a mindless way. Seeing JOhnson and Reynolds have some fun was worth it, especially since I didn't have to pay extra for it.

But I thought Jungle Cruise was actually better. I didn't have high expectations, but I am somewhere between the critics RT score (62%) and the audience score (92%).

I wonder how much of it is being a SoCal native and growing up with that ride being a really special thing. A whole lot of inside jokes going on that, if you don't know the ride well, they would go right past you.

I got some of the inside jokes of JG (I did get a kick out of Johnson's corny tour guide jokes--like they do on the ride). I was really hoping for a well-executed adventure, but it fell flat for me. I thought there was WAY too much CGI in that film, to the point it became a distraction. Red Notice had a lot too, but I guess it was easier for me to accept it in that movie for some reason. I think my expectations for JG were a bit higher, therefore the bigger disappointment when it didn't deliver.
