It’s on Netflix. It got okay reviews but I think it’s so bad, it’s good.

I liked Color Out Of Space. There's a few scenes where the director obviously "let" Cage go into goofy Cage-mode silliness that kind of took the viewer out of the moment, but as a horror/sci-fi movie it was decent.

I don't see it on Netflix... but it is on AMC+.

Edit: Learn something new every day. Who knew Canada Netflix was different.

Sorry, Color Out of Space is not available on American Netflix, but you can unlock it right now in the USA and start watching! With a few simple steps you can change your Netflix region to a country like Canada and start watching Canadian Netflix, which includes Color Out of Space.

I just couldn’t get on board with it.

I couldn’t believe when I read the reviews on Wikipedia that it was well received. But it’s good people liked it.

Goes to show why film and film criticism is subjective for the most part.

Looks like there are 2 Tiger King series being planned. Cage is in the other one. LOL

    From your article:
This is one of two television projects set in the “Tiger King” world. Variety exclusively reported last year that CBS Television Studios and Imagine Television are developing a series about Schreibvogel with Nicolas Cage attached to play the lead role. It is based on the Texas Monthly article “Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey Into the World of a Man Gone Wild,” by Leif Reigstad. It was announced back in September that the Cage project has been set up for development at Amazon.

I see it's an H. P. Lovecraft story. Those rarely transcend well to film, but I'm definitely going to give it a shot.

    The first one.

It's good enough, but pretty tame.

Yeah, there’s a surprising number of movies going back decades based on various Lovecraft stories including several just on Color Out Of Space. And most are not very good for a number of reasons often due to liberties taken with the source material and especially due to tiny budgets. Probably the two I’s most recommend are Reanimator and From Beyond, both starring Jeffrey Combs.

    I just saw A Quiet Place 2.

I had a few nitpicks, I really enjoyed it quite a bit. If you liked the first one, you'll probably like the second one. Like the first one, I highly recommend seeing it in a theater, because sound--or the lack of it--is a big part of the movie.
