Me too! First saw it at a drive-in with my parents and it scared the living shit outta me, especially when that horrible sound came on any time the Evil Jesus unleashed his eyes and drained his victims. Gave me and my little sister nightmares for days! My older brother loved it of course. Damn parents for taking us to see shit like that...hehe Edited to add: Chris, you should make the haunting whistling theme your new ringtone!

    The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Saw it last night. I thought it was fine. The rest of my family really liked it, but I found some of the weaponry inaccuracies to be annoying.

I know, sit down and enjoy the movie.

Alan Ritchson might be a douchenozzle, but he is a convincing ass kicker.

    Devil (2010)

This is one of those gimmick movies that boils down to the reveals near the end of the film. The characters are broad, unlikable and annoying to follow, but the movie is entertaining enough if you can deal with broad characters and lots of exposition dialogue.

I bought the dvd for a buck. The money was spent well enough.

    The Ritual

Watched it on Netflix. Outside of how annoying it can be watching people not having the most basic of survival skills deciding to go camping in the middle of fucking nowhere, it wasn't too bad.

Pretty much Blair Witch Project without it being a fake documentary, just four dumb guys in the woods that run into something evil.

Is that the one in the Scandinavian forest and there’s an animal carcass nailer to a tree or in the attic of a cabin?

    That's the one.

Carcass in the trees, an idol in the attic of a cabin.

The stupidity of the friends group in a survival situation bothered me, but it was fine.

    Brubaker (1980)

Starring Robert Redford, Yaphet Kotto and Tim McIntire. Gritty prison drama. Features everything a good prison movie has to offer: corruption, beatings and murder.

Speaking of prison ones - anyone recall one from late ‘70s or earliest of ‘80s where a man escapes and he’s on the ripen and a dog catches up to him and he whacks it with a rock or something?
