25th Anniversary.....So What???

First of all I've been gone a long long time from the boards more or less a year or so, and I'm happy to find that my password still works!
Anyway, why I went away never to come back, was basically the fact that I love this fucking band since I was a little kid, and last year the ball finally drop with the whole DLR/Sammy thing to this day it make me sick. Why? you ask.
I'm a purist, I like that if a band hate each other they do hate each other for the rest of their lives, and don't pull out publicity stunts like that tour to delay or betray the true fans, I know the tour was a success but at the end of the day...who cares. No Eddie,No Alex,No Mike what was the point, to finally understand that Dave is an egomaniac, sorry he prove that point in 1985.
If it sounds that I'm bitter maybe is because I am.
To tell you the truth I've been waiting for 2003 since 1992, for the fact that maybe they as a band would be induccted in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. But the last four years have been hell for me trying to defend this band to my naysayers friends that I have. I haven't been all that fun.
And to make this worst the music panorama that we have today is dreadfully dull.
Listen I would love to see a reunion sooner than later, with Sam or Dave, personally I will say Sammy, DLR has prove to me that he doesn't even deserve to be mention with that band anymore.
to round this up, I just hope that by the end of the year I may have change my mind a bit.

BTW... IMO a 25th anniversary is something meaningful even if the last 5 years haven't been... your milage may vary...
