Has DAVE announced anything lately ?

Excuse me if I have missed something, but has
Dave himself announced anything ? Has HE talked
about a new DLR Band CD ? Has HE said anything
about this new oriental guitar player ?

One would think that if he had new music on the way and a brand new guitar player - He would be
hootin it up a bit ? I don't have an hour
to down load his DVD - Can someone tell me if
the WTC is in the clip ? Someone mentioned this
earlier but I didn't see a response.

Excuse me if he has announced these things and I missed it. If HE hasn't been heard - than I don't get it.

If he supposedly has all of this going - WHY ISN'T HE TALKING ? He is a friggin motor mouth.
I would think that he would talking to who ever
would listen - He would have to - thats how the business works.

If Dave and VH were Kapoot, and he had other plans in the works, we wouldn't be hearing about
his "new" guitar player on the drummers web site.
Dave himself would be telling us how smokin the
"new" guy was.

Yes, and small portions of it were even in english.

It seems that Dave is/was under some sort of gag order relating to VH. He probably signed some sort of contract when they were working on the three songs. Even though it appears that those songs will never see the light of day and Dave will never be with VH again, he may still stand to lose a lot of money if he opens his mouth. He could be testing the waters with this short video to see what the response is. If he feels that he can make a ton of money on his DVD, then he would probably tell everything he knows and to hell with the gag order and everything that goes with it. Judging by the responses I have seen, he will probably continue with the silence.

My Opinion - Dave is certainly not the quiet type and one of two things is happening right now:

1) Big lawsuit of some type
2) Dave is still some how involved with the bro's

He is being quiet for a reason. And for his
recent interviews in the past 3-4 months - what
REAL information did he give up ? If you can
find them look at some of the transcripts - he
talks but really doesn't give up much at all.

This DLR Band stuff/DVD is obviously a sideline
halftime production with not much effort or money put into it. To me it looks and sounds like
a hobby project. If Dave was really into it - if he thought that it was really something I think that the production would be alot better and he would be pushing it right now. Talking

That's a good point. He could so easily be doing magazine interviews, talk shows, more radio interviews, etc. Sounds like he has enough money to produce the DVD's himself, if he really wanted to. Hmmmmmmmmmm... Glenn's right - he's as quiet as Van Halen, and as coy, it seems...

*sigh* Some days, I wish DLR & =VH= would just publish a new round of scathing "open letters" to each other and get it over with...
