Do I remember!!! When I started listening to the band in late `78 early `79 they were all over the rock n roll magazines, they toured every year , we were spoiled back then . I first saw them live in Oct.`80 just as the WACF tour was coming to an end and I got to see them again in June of `81 on the Fair Warning tour , saw again in Sept. `82 again in May `84 , 4 times with Hagar while he was in the band . From `82-`84 you just knew they were gonna be in the next issue of Circus mag. with all the cool color photos . VH shirts , hats posters , buttons were all over the place and Ed was featured in tons of guitar magazines . Hell yeah! I remember

Im sad to be born in 86 !
I've miss all those good show
I can tell you guys that you are lucky to have saw Van Halen EVH: Definitely. Playing guitar was my sanctuary. It was the one place I could go to if I got fucked around by a girlfriend, or anyone else, for that matter. It still is. If there’s something I can’t deal with, I can just spend hours playing. It’s a God-given gift – I certainly don’t know where the ideas come from. They’re obviously given to you, and you have to keep your fingers moving and your mind quiet. I try my best to not think about thinking, so I can just let it flow. Because when I start thinking, forget it. <br />So....why he isn't playing guitar ? ? ?

You guys missed it then! I graduated high school in '86 and of course lived and grew up thru the 70s and 80s. What a time! Everyone was much more loose and less uptight. These days it seems everyone is so friggin intense. I miss the 70s and 80s

It is amazing how much some people can do with so little, however, what is even more amazing to me is how little some people can do with so much.

I remember the first time I heard VH, thanks to a cousin who played "Eruption" for me when that album first came out, I had no idea who they were, I was still in the "KISS is god stage" LOL! Fast forward to now, I have seen them a total of 26 times, with every ticket stub to show for it. Some shows were great, some were a little off..but it was still VAN HALEN! I hope they will be back out here for us to see, but if not...thanks for some awesome memories, I know I can't complain at all. Later peeps...

I was born in '86 and was lucky enough to be dragged(kicking and screaming because I was going to miss a night of TV)by my Dad to the opening show of the Balance tour in Pensacola, FL. I've been a fan ever since more of the Sammy stuff than Dave at first but now I've found a pretty decent balance between Van Roth and Van Hagar. I've seen Sammy a few times since and only seen Roth once and that was last summer. But I've missed the good years of VH live.

Remember when Van Halen fans didn't whine and bitch everyday?
You don't??? Neither do I.
I'm closing this, kind of getting tired of multiple threads dedicated to whining.Webmaster
