Just thought I'd throw this up here.

Starting tonight at Midnight tonight Pacific Time, we are going to commence the first broadcast of VHLinks.com Van Halen Un-Radio. Basically what it will be is entire streaming broadcasts of complete VH bootlegs 24 hours a day/7 days a week, changing the boot weekly. We are not trying to compete with any of the other excellent VH online radio stations out there, but just trying to offer a chance for fans to hear some of the complete bootlegs out there. A lot of the other radio stations take songs here and there from the unreleased recordings for their broadcasts, but we will run the entire boot, repeated for a week. We might have a rotation of two per week, but that hasn't been finalized yet. You will need RealAudio to listen to the broadcast. Look for it starting tonight.

Glenn if you have RealPlayer 7, it should be a snap! Other players will work too. I already have the first boot picked out Track, so let's see how this first week goes and then maybe we can have a voting thing each week where you guys can choose the one you want to hear next. Right now I am going with one a week, but I may make it two a week after we get it going.

Will there be a posting with the tracks and info somewhere so we know what's playing?

Yep, there will be a track listing on the site as well as on the playlist when you are listening to the broadcast. I may even record a little intro so you know then disc will be repeating, have to see how awful my voice sounds recorded though.

I'm gonna have two different versions. 33.6 and above, and then cable modem speeds and above.

Laner - Think about it, you'll get it, it's not that clever.

Also, I am having trouble with the site I am streaming the broadcast from, so the 12 AM launch may be pushed back to tomorrow morning if I can't the problem resolved. Something is screwy with their server. So we'll see.
