Three Great Live Moments!!!

I was driving in to work this morning and was thinking about my three favorite live moments from each era (Eddie wise). Check it out and drop an opinion:

Dave Era:
US Festival. Somebody Get Me A Doctor/I'm So Glad/Girl Gone Bad (before released). Wow - watching Ed & Al jamming - great stuff, I'm glad I was there to see it in person!

Sam Era:
Guitar Solo in 5150. Still get the goose-bumps when I hear this.

Third Singer Era:
Hearing them do Mean Streets - didn't matter who was singing!

WOW !!

Envious that you were at the US Festival man, that must have been a great experience.

I think I get goosebumps everytime I hear or, watch the "Somebody Get Me A Doctor" / "Girl Gone Bad" / "I'm so Glad" jam. !!

Good choices I must say.

A great Hagar moment was during the '93 tour when they played 'Rockin In the Free World'. I was always a big fan of the song and to hear VH do it was too cool.

i have yet to hear anything anywhere that compares to ed's solo on 5150 from LWAN

From the 82/83 tour Somebody Get ME A Doctor/Im So Glad from the Montevideo show (2/5/83). This is available on the boot South American Assault. This version is the best I have heard from that tour.

1Heartbreak Hotel live in '83...only Van Roth could vett a tune up an' outdo the king of rocknroll...

2 79th and Sunset David Lee Roth live acoustic blues ditty...a lil' Humble Pie rave-up all lowdown and BLUEZZY...

3 I'll Go Crazy live in 1988 Milano gig...wowza, DLR cookin' up some James Brown like ol' live at the Apollo...Ize recently downloaded thiz a here original an' Dave did an' amazin' job on this cut, Vai,too...Jack Butler from Memphis...

4 Radio Rodeo...And The Cradle Will Rock, Light Up The Sky,Jailhouse Rock,Theme From Shaft,Atomic Punk,Ice Cream Man,Love Time,Tin Cup Chalice,Have Mercy On Me------live an' unplugged on the radio with the mighty DLR Band The Lower Chakrateers yez yez yezzz...juzz like the Stones playin' some acoustic blues Brownsville style Prodigal Son or the mighty Zep cookin' up some Look On Yonders Wall blues FO' SHO'!!!!!!

Three great live moments:
1. I saw them live 4 times with Roth (80,81,82,84)and when the house lights went down and the stage lights came on , the moment the boys ran out onstage was incredible!!!!!!!!
2. Oct.9th 1980 , 2nd song Bottoms Up. Dave , Mike and Ed shared the mic for the breakdown section then ripped back into the song , AWESOME!!!!
3. Sept. 14th 1982 , The boys ripped into I`m So Glad by Cream in the middle of Somebody get me a Doctor, the cool thing was it was played on the P.A. before the show and was the first time I`d ever heard it . COOL MAN!!!!!!! [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
