I mean no major label behind them??

No News??

No Dave, Sammy or Gary

Could Van Halen setup there own label like Motley Crue??

Would spitfire records be interested now??

What does everyone think about this??

Is good news

Dave has been too quiet, and its not just because he is making a dvd

Someone will sign them, they need a major label to help promote any thing new.

Would spitfire records be interested now??
They need a giant label, that will stand behind them.

What does everyone think about this??
For Van Halen to regain their credibility, they need first a killer album, with a label to support and push it, followed by a massive tour that hasn't been seen in many many years.

IMO it's all about the distribution deal!

and getting as much free publicity as possible!

but VH needs to get with the fact that it's in their best interest to cozy up to the internet fans

it's a new age!

and just like back in the early 80s with Mtv=you either get with it or get left behind!

I really don't see them starting their own record label, strictly because they're the type of guys who could barely organize a trip to the bathroom, let alone a record label. It would definitely require strong, trustworthy management.

Anyway, going to send this to the Opinions/Speculations forum.
