TK is still adament (sp?) that Dave will have a solo album out this year. I sent them a cranky email about how they were full of shit about this statement last year and they responded saying that it is still happening. To compound things, it is being rumoured that Dave will be performing a solo gig in March somewhere. TK didn't say this, but its a rumour that is going around - Grant over at VHND is aware of this one but don't hold him over a barrel about it.

Just playing devil's advocate here...

It is conceivable that Dave is NOT back with Van Halen. His silence of course leads us to believe he is, while it is possible he is staying silent for 2 reasons: 1) when people hear new DLR, they will assume it is the long-awaited VH cd, and the media buzz would be huge, and 2) it would disappoint about a bazillion VH fans who were hoping for DLR but had to settle for #4, thus putting the final nail in their coffin as sweet revenge for the '96 fiasco.

I DO NOT subscribe to this theory; I am simply making the point that it is a possibility.

The day I believe TK is the day I begin believing in the Easter Bunny again.

Just another example of how "The Keepers" are no longer in the loop.
Think about it. If you've been following very closely as I and others have been doing since the beginning of last year,you'll notice that "TK" have been wrong EVERYTIME with their predictions.
The reason for this is simple. Dave is no longer a solo artist and his new web home is going to be the official VH site. This was also around the same time when Dave fired his manager Ed Anderson. Anderson was who the "TK" used to get info Dave. Now no Anderson ,no Dave.IMO

I'm certainly not a fan or believer of TK. But what the hell do they have to gain from all of this if they are completely making it up?

How can they go from being Dave's official webmasters (see DLR Band credits) to being so far out of the loop that they are practically the only people on the planet who don't think Dave is working with VH? If (as popular belief seems to be) there is some huge operation to prevent VH info from leaking don't you think a rogue website would have been shut down months and months ago?

I still think TK have some part to play in this whole saga - not necessarily a very important part, but there is a method to their madness. What it is I don't know

Very Interesting...
While I tend to lean more with what AbeVanHalen says, The Keepers have bean dead wrong with everything they've said. They even tried to pawn off that GOD AWFUL "Look at All the People Here Tonite" as a single!!! I wouldn't be suprized if "TK" are making a entire album of the same type of bullshit that that song is.

If the artist themselves aren't willing to pay money to have that material released on a disc, it speaks volumes of the quality.

I don't know what TK's business relation with DLR is now, but the only thing that makes sense to me is that it is all part of Diamond Dave's master reunion plan. I don't believe DLR would sit still while some nut makes claims about him, release bogus singles, etc...

I agree - you would think he'd sue the hell out of them for releasing that 'track' to radio. Yet it's still there on the website.

Maybe Dave has some kind of backup plan if things are still shaky with VH.

Dont you think that Dave would have a SHIT FIT if he was not involved with "LAATPHT" given the fact it was downloaded by radio stations across the country?

Come on people, be realistic here, use some commons sense.

Remember headhunters comments about the new single "LAATPHT" ? He said some people will like it and others just wont 'get it'. Think about it....
