At least Dave's not Vince Neil

Everyone who complains about Dave should be happy he's not like Vince Neil. Sure, they're in similar boats, (Both touring solo, playing all the old band's songs + 1 solo tune). But Vince is fat, out of shape, can only sing 1/2 of a song and apparently is shitfaced 24/7. People are even worried about him drinking himself to death soon. Dave's only got baldness and the high notes to worry about.

Even more important you should be happy that YOU are not Vince Neil.

Just kidding. Actually I think Neil's Exposed (I think that's what it is called) is exceptional.

Vince was smart enough to hire a great guitarist (Steve Stevens) for his first solo outing. don't ask me what happened after that...

He was known as a drunk, no-singing mofo back in the 80's, though.

You're saying Vince is on an unending bender? I'm assuming you saw Exposed earlier on the tour...you're saying he was f*cked up during the show?

If this is the case, then thanx for the advance warning. My songwriting partner and I are friends with Troy Lucketta (drummer for Tesla and Eric Martin), and Troy gave us all-access for Tesla's 2 No Cal shows later this summer. Exposed is on the Konocti bill, so I'm guessing Vince won't be worth much for conversation...not that he ever has been [img]graemlins/drunk.gif[/img] Ahh, he'll probably be too busy bangin' some hot groupie... [img]graemlins/devil.gif[/img]

Incidentally, Skid Row is also on the Konocti bill. Would anyone here know if Bach is with the band for this tour?

I know Vince has a VERY tough time singing all the words, especially "Kickstart My Heart" and "Dr. Feelgood". Saw it myself in Dallas a few years back on the last tour with Tommy Lee. And, he does look a bit puffy.
