this has probably been polled a thousand times before, but i never saw it...

which would you rather have (assuming only one album/tour comes out of VH with dave/ or things fall apart): 1) a 4th singer 2) tour and release albums as a trio with mike singing lead (i really don't see that happening) 3) retire ?????

personally, i just don't know... well, option number 3 is out of question, just don't know about the first two... my personal prediction is they'll release one album and one tour with dave, then get back with sammy... just my theory though...

I'd take a fourth singer as the option. It just doesn't seem right to not have Eddie creating and releasing music, and I'll take it any way I can get it.

I'd like to see the Dave reunion last until the end, but I agree with you, my gut tells me that it's going to be one album and one tour (and probably a live album), but that's it. Personally though, I don't see Sammy ever coming back.

Well for me it's like this, no matter what they do, and if it has to come to a 4th singer or soundtracks I would give full support. To me it's all about the brownsound!

Seriously, a 4th singer wouldn't be terrible as long as they found someone that is a top-notch frontman. They don't have to be the best singer, but as long as they have fun and put on a great show every night.

Personally I see the DLR thing lasting beyond the one album, but I do also see the band slipping into a semi-retirement phase ALA the stones, just reconvening ever 3 years or so to put out an album and tour. The days of an album a year are long gone

In the layoffs I think Ed and and Al will probably become increasingly involved with movie soundtrack projects. Mike may or may not be involved. I think Roth will probably NOT pursue anything solo musically, I wouldnt be suprised if he popped up on radio somewhere however, to keep some profile. I honestly can't see Sam coming back, or singer #4.

All speculation there of course

If the choice is between a 4th singer or nothing, well, duh, I'd take a 4th singer easily.

If the music rocks, the singer roulette becomes irrelevant.

I'd prefer Dave to come back. If that does not happen I would like to see them give Mike a try at bein the man. But a fourth singer is fine also. I'd buy the album(if they ever put another one out!). Hell I bought VH3 and still lsten to that once in awhile.

like everyone else here, I WANT DAVE!!, but if that were not possible, they could try a new (4th) singer, or maybe do an album where they invite different singers to sing different songs (touring would be tough though)and yes Lenny would be awesome!!!
If he's not w/ VH...and if the world doesn't come to complete halt when he announces that he is not with them......I would hope that Dave would toss us some solo stuff...
