Anyone seen this TV show? While two girls were driving around(well, only one was driving [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]), Ice Cream Man was on the car radio. Then a minute later, I heard Jamie's Cryin', so it was probably a tape. VH is everywhere these days. Even DJs like them. I heard Top of the World yesterday in the car, and it apparently it was the second of 2 VH songs played. Then the DJ said something about he'd just play a 3rd song and asked "Can you ever get enough Van Halen? I don't think so."

I know this is useless, but I thought I'd just say even here in Indiana VH is played. [img]smilies/cool.gif[/img] Right Abe? [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Honestly Kenyon, I wouldn't really know. The only music I listen to on the radio is 97.1 in Indy on the all 80's weekends, and they mostly play more pop-oriented stuff.

But, it's cool that VH is getting more airplay on TV lately! [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

I know, TV needs a little VH! I wish I were about 10 years older(I'm 18). It woulda been cool to see the days when VH were new. There's no good music anymore [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] I don't like the 80s-like music, but at least it was a time to live. Too bad I was just 2 or 3 when Dave left the first time.

I watched that show when it first started and liked it a lot. It's too bad it got canceled. [img]smilies/mad.gif[/img] There sure was a lot of VH in it. In addition to what songs Kenyon mentioned, they played Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love at a party, Little Dreamer in someone's room, and Everybody Wants Some at the beginning of the first episode. Some characters also wear VH t-shirts. [img]smilies/cool.gif[/img]

Did anyone catch this?
When Fox launched into the Daytona 500 this past Febuary, did anyone notice that they played Eruption, the complete solo? While the solo was being aired, they showed some really cool highlights of Nascar thru the years. Very cool way to start the 2001 season. To bad how the race ended tho. Man, I still can't believe Dale's gone. Wow, who woulda thought it.....

According to IMDB.com, it says Freaks And Geeks was first aired in the U.S. on September 25, 1999. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

It seems to be a cool show. Realistic, but not too dramatic. It's always the good shows that get canceled. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] Why can't they cancel something gay like TRL?

Freaks and Geeks was set in the mid-80s...
One girl had a coat with a VH logo on the back.

Some shows that get cancelled, get cancelled because they suck, but that was a GOOD show while it lasted. Fuck NBC!! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
