Is this something that is listed in the VH Encyclopedia or is there a webiste that has this info? I wanna find the concert figures for all VH tours, especially during the Diamond Dave era...

There has to be a place where I can find how many people they where playing to nightly. It had to be an absurd amount cuz I know they are one of the biggest live acts ever and where selling out all over the damn place for ages..

Hey Badabing, that amusement business site used to have stats for VH tours dating back to 1984. They didn't have all the tour dates listed, but roughly 25% of the shows that VH played. But recently, within the past 2 years, they changed the site around and the only stats I could pull up for VH is about 10-15 shows on the VH3 tour. I subscribe to the site so I'll cut and paste them here if you want, just send another post to this thread-

Thanks dudes. It's ok, ima check with the VH Encyclopedia ima order this week.. I know the CJ is gonna eventually post it for free on-line, but I want a copy of my own.
It just blows my mind how quickly VH took over the scene and went from totally unknown new band in Feb. 1978 to being on the cover of Circus Magazine by the fall of 78' in a "Van Halen vs. Black Sabbath" on tour feature!
I mean, bands like Aerosmith, Kiss and others needed like 3 albums and several years before they hit it big!
VH came out the gate and just ran everyone over, onstage and on the charts. I think the only hard rock/metal band to come out that strong, before the MTV era that started in 1982 anyways, might be Zeppelin or maybe Sabbath... VH was selling tickets at a feverish pace..
