Cover of remasters

I don't know, but I know what you're talking about with those Ozzy CD's, and it seems unnecessary to make the cover picture smaller like that. Hopefully the covers of the VH remasters will be of normal CD size.

you i was thinking if they plan to have all the original artwork, how will they sell them to "NEW" listeners. They'll look the same. Only we will know unless they have a sign or something. Or a sticker on them I guess.

I'm sure they'll be in those clear jewel cases where you can see the far left side of the under tray with the CD closed. In there it will probably say VAN HALEN-THE REMASTERS or something to that effect.

In the press release it stated the remasters would include all the original artwork. This is good, IMO. After cd's became popular, records first released on 33 and tape often only included the front cover artwork in their cd incarnations. I'm hopin' these remasters will include all the original artwork, pictures and liner notes.

No they won't according to Alex Van Halen...
Check out the Official Site. He talks about not wanting to change or add any new or unreleased songs on any of the original albums when they get remastered.

Something about, they would be entirely different animals if they went and added songs.
