Interestingly, I've known Metal-is for quite a time, but the encyclopedia itself I had to find a banner that linked to it to access it! I can't seem to find the encyclopedia itself from the metal-is front page. But anyway. I just finished reading the whole thing (well not all, but most bands).

By the way, there are also DAVID LEE ROTH and SAMMY HAGAR entries. Among many other major rock bands.
