No. You pay $4.00 at the gate. It doesn't sell-out; it's a golf course, ie, it could probably accomodate 50,000+ people. Last year I got there at about 12:30 p.m. and they weren't charging admission when I (we) got there. Gates open at 8:00 a.m., golf tournament starts at 10:00 a.m, lasts 'til about 4:00 p.m.

Hey Joe. Two questions. Can you get in Ed's gallery, or is it luck of the draw. 2. What are the odds in actually gettin to meet him? I will most likely go unless the cold I'm currently battling gets the upper hand!

I hope to get to the golf tournament by 9:30 a.m. I think we should just meet on the golf course, where ever Eddie's group is. I'm not familiar with any restaurants in the area.

1. Yes you can get in Ed's "gallery." Last year, there were only me at two other guys in Ed's "gallery."

When he was ("making the turn") on the 18th green to the 1st tee there were more people.

2. I would say you have about a 100% chance of meeting him.

Last year, I talked to him a few times. At one point, I was talking to Ed's golf pro and friend, Ron Del Barrio, and Ed pulled-up in his golf cart and asked me where I got Mike (Anthony) to sign my shirt. (I was wearing my VHML 2000 Convention T-shirt that Mike had signed at Peppers at last year's Cinco de Mayo party.) The thought crossed my mind to tell Eddie, "Hey, fuck you," for interrupting my conversation with Ron. Ron and I were talking about the article that he wrote in "Maximum Golf Magazine" about his experiences of living with Tommy Lee in the early '90's. The article was too fucking funny!

Anyway, Eddie also signed my T-shirt and my Meet 'n' Greet photo from the '98 tour. Got my picture taken with him. And when I asked Ron Del Barrio if they brought any guitar picks (which they didn't), Ron gave me one of Eddie's personalized golf balls, ie, has the VH swirled logo and "EDWARD VAN HALEN" printed on it.
