Van Halen'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

I must say though, Metallica loses only beacuse they have put out so many shitty albums, but if was to only count the first three albums, then it would be METALIICA!!!!
Same could be said for Van Halen, but in all reallity VH ended in 1985, so it was really a different band putting out that music from 1996 onward...

METALLICA - Led Zep are GODS, but Metallica has more directly influenced my playing (the Black album has THE best drum sound)
AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie!
KISS - Love Ozzy, but Gene is THE MAN$$
VAN HALEN - speaks for itself

Led Zep (but metallica will win)
AC/DC: these guys are WAY bigger icons of rock than Maiden
Ozzy! Kiss are a bunch of wussy's (except for Simmons) Paul Stanley's voice sucks and Ace is a disgrace.
Van Halen (no bad comment about Def Leppard ...they ROCK too! )Just go for it!

Led Zeppelin way the fuck over Metallica --- Led Zeppelin is the reason Metallickass exists plus Metallickmyballs sued their fans for Christ's sake! This alone should postpone their induction into th R&R Hall of Fame for at least 5 years. What kind of assholes sue their fans?
Iron Maiden vs. AC/DC --- AC/DC by a hair
KISS vs. Ozzy --- another tough choice but I go with Ozzy. Ozzy has always been true to his fans and doesn't try to gouge them out of their last penny. Something Gene Simmons would have no problem doing (see the KISS casket if you disagree).
DEF LEPPARD vs. VAN HALEN --- VAN HALEN by 10,000 miles. DEF LEPPARD is way too over produced. Eddie Van Halen is better than both of DEF LEPPARD's guitarists combined. Enough said.I took a voodoo ladder lookin' for a moonbeam<br />Yeah, ya spend a lifetime gettin' lost in the jetstream

VS, I love shrooms but never liked Phish. I admit they are good musicians but they are boring. Especially live. No melody that I could tell, just mindless endless jamming. I'd be very surprised if...
