Great VH Book Question...

This question goes out mostly to Canadian VH fans...

I used to have a book of Van Halen photography ... it was released around 1984-1985 or so, it had many live pictures from the 1984 tour (as well as older ones)..

Does anybody else remember this book?

The photography in this book was fucking unbelievable ... the best VH photography ever made...also the closest thing to a Van Halen coffee table book ever made...

I also believe the book was printed in a limited release ... a local Toronto music writer wrote the commentary (Peter Goddard?, if I remember rightly)... I also remember the Photographer having a name like Kamen or something...

Again does anybody remember this book?

I remember the book. A buddy of mine (the guy who turned me on to Van Halen) had it.

Its real old - came out in like '86 or something? It wasn't cheesy either - it was a hard cover coffee table type thing with big picture. Had classic Stones, Zepplin, the Who and stuff if I remember. And the pics of Roth had him in a Montreal Canadians jersey.

Is that the one you're talkin about?

I remember that picture of Dave in the Habs jersey. That picture used to be one of many large pictures you saw as you entered the old Forum stadium. I wonder if it is still there? I was last in Montreal in 1989, so its been some time now.

As for the book, I never saw it, but I would love to get my hands on it. Sounds more like a question for Brad.

I know for sure I have that book somewhere in my house. My Dad is a school librarian and his library was dicarding it so he brought it home for me about year ago. It has some killer live shots. I'll look for it now that you remind me.
