Alright, it appears the thread is dead, and maybe that's because what was thought was sumthin was nuthin afterall ( the VH1 Dave clip).
In it, Dave is asked to speculate on the chances of a reunion and he basically just says (paraphrasing) "I'm ready for anything at a moments notice... Ed, you know my number".
It was given in Roth's typically jokey manner,
and not at all the formal call to arms the former threaders here reported it to be.
But this is good thing. I preface this comment
by saying VH mach 1 was untouchable, and VH mach 2 was merely mediocre, but Dave is
fucking done. He is more and more incoherent and oblivious to reality all the time.
And having never been much of a fan of Sam's brand of blandness, I say again the best move for the brothers is just that: move on to bigger and better things. To hell with some lame nostalgia trip. Ed's talent and the fans are deserving of something better.

Might as well jump.

I said it before and i'll say it again, it was the start of good news for VH fans.

Dave was starting it, and since then its only been positive, with dave and sammy both saying lets do the reunion.

The first time i saw it i was in shock, like i had said, i hadnt seen dave on tv in song long, and he looked so colorful and crazy, like diamond dave. [img]smile.gif[/img]

And what got me more than that was VH1 hyping the call, saying "hey eddie, call Dave" and writing it on the screen the whole time.

I think the ball is rolling.
Now its up to ed and al.
Maybe we'll finally get some new music!
