um, although it's played with an electric acoustic, i'm going with secrets. i really like that song, and of course, the solo is electric, but the main melody is electric acoustic.
the intro to take your whiskey home is also really cool.

'Take Your Whiskey Home' would be tops on my list.

'Drop In the Bucket' off of 'A Little Ain't Enough' is another good one.

Spanish Fly.

But if that doesn't qualify as a "song", I'd go with the intro to Take Your Whiskey Home, followed closely by the Little Guitars intro.

"Could This Be Magic" is great!

back in the early 90s I was in a band and we played that song at this club and we were surpised to find out that the people in the club not only knew the song but knew the words and sang along at the chorus!

it's a song like this one that seperates Van Halen from other bands--humor and style can take you a long way

If it counts: Take Your Whiskey Home if not the Could This Be Magic.

Is there acoustic guitar on In A Simple Rhyme? I thought it was 12 string electric. Haven't listened to it in awhile though.

I love the sound of the acoustic, it's something I wish VH would have used a lot more throughout their career. I guess my pick would probably be The Full Bug.

Have to go with In a Simple Rhyme from WACF, but I really dig Secrets from Diver Down.

"Could This Be Magic" or Mary Lou Lord's version of "Jump" from the EVERYBODY WANTS SOME tribute album... I think that's awesome.
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth
