Looked like about 30 minutes out of town, in Jemez.

Read this in an interview with Esposito:

Where did you shoot the Lalo scene in Germany? The show is normally in Albuquerque, how did you give this area a new look?

Esposito: Our wonderful set decorating artist found an old barn in the valley in Albuquerque. I went to the studio where they had an old set of something else. They said we could fashion the interior here and the exterior there. We wound up going out to the barn, a 90-year-old woman owned it out in the valley. It had the beautiful feeling of what would be inside a German barn. It was a horse barn, and we wanted it to be a barn that looked like it had Casper’s machinery — he’s an engineer. There was already hay; it was the perfect interior.

The exterior was over on the other side of Sandia, N.M. It really does resemble Germany. But we didn’t have enough green; it wasn’t the time of season. I said, “Can we just get someone to come out here every day with a water truck and water? Every day for the next two weeks before we had to shoot, just soak the ground.” We got the greens people out there and put in some extra trees. It worked seamlessly due to the creativity of so many great artists.

Just found out that Cranston and Aaron Paul were at a grocery store about 20 mins from me yesterday. Apparently they're promoting their mezcal brand "Dos Hombres." Damn, I wish I knew about it sooner.

Yes it was Norwalk. That's actually a bit more than 20 mins from my house. LOL I was thinking of the store in Newington.

Everytime Gus is at his store I get a cravying for some Los Pollos. Can imagine it would be better than KFC

I've been trying to stay off fried food, but yeah I get the same craving. Had Popeye's spicy a few weeks ago, no where near as spicy as I remember.ha

I can't recall that but after watching episode 2 I think yesterday of BB, he did sling some of the first batches there. I too want a dog from there as well. I just love spicy chicken even though I know Los Pollos would be generic spicy which means not spicy at all. Spicy is when you are sweating and need to dab your forehead.

Also, this has been my favorite Mexican restaurant since 1985 or so. Ate there last night as a matter of fact. Even worked there as a teen.
