Hey all, I posted this article a couple months ago under a different name and decided to do it again. I wrote this article for the website that I run and throw it up here again to get your opinions. The article is at

Now everyone here are avid music fans so I was wondering what everyone here is looking for in a music website? What sites do you guys go to for news (obviously not this one)?Thanks everyone.

Yeah, I remember reading that a while back. You did a pretty decent job on that piece.

Actually, I DO come to this site for news on music. The music meeting place forum has all sorts of tidbits about groups other than Van Halen that people put up. Its sad really, because there is always something to read in there, but not about our favorite band. But anyways, yes we do come here for news. Other sites? Well, melodicrock I guess, but usually not to often. If andrew posts a link here, I usually check it out. But not too much more than that.

There isn't a whole lot happening in the music world that I don't hear about here. Yeah, I'm serious. If it ain't talked about here, the odds of me liking it are about the same as the odds for this ad sticking around in Main for very long. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Seriously, Melodicrock has it just about perfect for covering much of the music I like. Various bands' websites (not VH's, unfortunately) fill in the details. You'd have to work pretty damn hard to be as well connected as Andrew, or have as many well considered opinions as can be found in our Non-VH forum.
