I hope all of us, on all the different VH fourms, get some kind of thank you on the new CD. We have kept the buzz alive for the last year for this band. With all the rumors, speculation, and bullshit thats gone on, a little thank you would be nice.

Now don't bash me with all the, "VH doesn't owe us anything," crap! This is a joke. However, it would be a nice way to thank the diehard fans who have been coming to sites like this, everyday, for the last year plus. What do you think? MO.

You know what, when we all signed that huge thread for Eddie on his birthday last year and Brett sent it to Brad to pass along to EVH, I wondered if that might get us a mention on VH's next release. Now I believe I was a moron for thinking that. First off, I don't even believe that Eddie would have even got that note. And second, since the official VH site doesn't give a nod to this trail blazing fan site, I highly doubt the liner notes of any VH album would.

We here and the Army absolutely kept the tide rolling before the PD was even conceived. I seriously doubt any of us will get credited for anything, we haven't yet.

I agree with both of you. (Glenn & Brett)
This site alone is the only reason I have been getting on the net everyday. You know, that small chance we might actually hear something worth while, i.e., Brett's encounter at Disney. I enjoy lurking around other sites but by far, this site has the coolest people.

VHND has been a good site in the times of, "No news is good news," also. We will not get a specific VHlinks thanks, we all know that. However, a thank you to "all our internet fans," would do.

In the realm of everything, who cares if we get a mention. Shit, just give us some new music! MO.

Brett, I am first and foremost a VHLinks MB Poster. I think that this site is way better than the PD. I thought that I would post a link to the PD that has Bradman stating to everyone that he has thanked you numerous times. I hope that he has, because it is obvious how much he copied Links for the PD Layout. Links is still much more eye friendly and does not have a problem with peoples ideas that don't agree with theirs.

While VHLinks/VHForums is one of the best sites on the net, and deserves all respect for being the original VH UBBoard, you really think that some sort of credit should go solely to the Forums for "keeping the buzz alive"? Don't forget that there have been internet "meeting places" for VH fans long before this site existed. The VHML, for instance, has been around for over 8 years...

Well at any rate I think that Brad should give Brett a heads up when the time is at hand so Brett can make sure VHLinks is up-n-ready for the Mighty VH and that he(Brett) will be the first one to Post the News on Links. That is a right that I think Brett deserves. Heck he was able to keep his conversation with Michael Anthony under wraps for a little while. I think that Brad could tell Brett a few hours or Days prior to the Big News. It would be the nice thing to do.

Sorry Scott, I didn't make myself clear. When I said, "all of us, at all the different forums," that did not mean VHLinks Forums only! It was intended to mean all the different forums, i.e, PD, Army, Slaughter, etc... Of course they are not going to thank VHLinks alone! It was meant to be a "general" thanks to internet fans. And yes, all the different sites HAVE kept the buzz alive. Will they do it? Bet not. They should though. MO.

Thanks PAL, but I don't want or deserve anything more than any other VH fan. I didn't make this site with the intent of getting a thing out of it, I'm just glad that over a year and a half later, you guys are still coming here, despite all the other UBB VH alternatives out there.
