Jump No.47 on MTV pop poll!

What do you guys/gals think of this? Personally I think it should have been higher, but I am a little biased being the huge VH fan that I am. I'm not saying that Jump should be no.1 or even in the top 10 probably, but I think it should have been ranked higher simply because you still hear it being played at sporting events all the time, it's a simple song, and it has an unmistakable sound that lifts you up everytime you hear it. Not to mention it spent 4 weeks at no.1 on the pop charts in a time where Michael Jackson and Madonna ruled the charts.

It should never be less than number 10. Like what you said about it at sporting events. Plus, I personally think it's about the most recognizable song right from the get go.

We must remember who MTV is targeting.

It should be much higher than #47. It's got a distinct sound, and is extremely recognizable.

Let me guess--some talentless teenybopper puppet "band" ranked higher than them.

You all should be happy that Mtv even acknowledges Van Halen considering they have nothing to do with rock music anymore. Van Halen seems to be the only rock band that they will even mention or play a video from once in a while. AC/DC gets a mention now and then on there but thats about it.
