Interview video of VH at 5150

Someone on Ebay is listing a vidoe for sale on ebay of the band at 5150 around the time of RHRN, I was wondering if anyone here has seen it and can tell me if it's good or not.

It's alright. It came out with early promo copies of the RHRN video. It's basically the band in the rec room talking about the live album and the upcoming tour for 15 minutes or so, followed by some boring promo stuff for store-owners (really stupid) and then two performances in the studio (DREAMS and WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN). I guess it depends how much the EBay person is charging. It's not hard to find, but many copies vary in quality. Mine isn't that great. It's really a promo item more than anything.

Is it included on the RHRN dvd by chance? I sure it isn't, but I can always *hope* VH might give their fans something cool.

It was done as a live satellite broadcast. The 15 minute call-in interview segment at the beginning, IMHO, was a waste of time because their was no organization or structure to it. But it was still cool seeing 5150's rec room. [img]smile.gif[/img]

The segment that makes the video special, though, would have to be the boys jamming the two tunes live in the studio.

BTW, NEVER pay for items such as this. Trade, and you can get it for free.

I see what you mean, but the whole trading business is odd to me. The websites say "we don't sell our stuff, don't even ask", but if you are like me and have nothing to trade, you have to start somewhere. I guess I should risk getting my video camera taken away and try to sneak it into a concert.

I agree, the two songs that they perform are incredible. 'Won't Get Fooled Again' is one of my favorite all-time songs and to hear VH do it is special.

What newbies do when they start out trading is exchanging blank media (whether it be CD-Rs, video cassettes, etc.) for the items they want. A lot of experienced collectors will gladly trade with newbies this way. Many will do a 2:1 deal with ya; you send 2 blanks for every 1 they record for you. Others ask that you send one blank and the appropriate return postage (called B+P's) for every one they record for you.
