yeah, i remember that. i think that's less likely than a reunion. reading between the lines, it seems like that semi-audition may have been one of ray daniels' ideas. that alone would be enough to turn most VH fans off.

i wouldn't have anything against a female lead singer, but i think i might be in a minority there. i just want new stuff, whoever sings.

I like Sass Jordan too! The last CD that I bought was her latest CD actually. It's called Hot Gossip, it's good, I like her older stuff better though.

I would have rather seen (out of the women auditions, that is) Patty Smythe (spelling?) from Scandal. The band was pop candy, but listen to her vocals on "The Warrior". Forget the lyrics, that was just the label makin a buck. But I'm tellin ya just listen to the vocal range, and her approach to singing......She could do both styles, and would have (MOST ironically) done the Dave-range better than Sammy, imho. Thats not any slam on Sam, I just think that chick has a HELL of a throat. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

Sass Jordan was playing at a local racetrack/casino here in Ottawa a couple of months ago which speaks volumes for her mainstream appeal. If VH doesn't get someone with name recognition no one is going to care. Get Dave or Sammy back or a reputable 4th vocalist.

I'd buy it with Sass. I don't give a shit any more about mass appeal. I just want good fucking music. In fact, fuck the masses, that just means they'll play smaller venues with better seats for me!!!
