Sammy Hagar has 2 solo Platinum albums and 3 Gold albums.(Standing Hampton and VOA both went Platinum, Sammy Hagar, Unboxed, and 3 Lock Box went gold. According to the Riaa who certifies these things)

Sammy's last 3 solo albums post VH and his Greatest hits albums have all out sold DLR's last 3 solo albums and his Best of...(As of 01/00, according to soundscan)

You said the Van Halen albums continue to sell a million albums a year, but according to the numbers they have sold about 4 million in almost ten years, your numbers don't add up!

Sammy Hagar has sold more albums(solo) in the past 6 years than DLR has sold in more than 10!
This is a proven fact.
