Dweezil is not bad . . . .

For those of you with Napster (before it's too late), check out a song called 'Purple Guitar' by Dweezil. It's got a real VH feel to it and is something "new" to listen to until the real thing. If you like VH (and you wouldn't be hear if you didn't), I think you'll really like it.

I wonder if he's using one of Eddie's guitars on this - sure sounds close.

Yes I have the album that song is on. It is a new one. It ain't bad. Also in the new Guitar Player Magazine with Pat Metheny on the cover inside there is a short interview with Dweezil and he has a guitar Ed gave him in the picture. It is that multi-colored one. Check it out

Yup he's da man in his own respect, he has flavor to his game, reminds me of a satch boogie when I listen to that song.
