First off it has a 7 pages on Van Halen,rare pix and a break down of each album.But what is really cool is Zakk and Dime talk about calling Eddie on the Ozzy fest to do a album,just the 3 of them.Four songs each and tour at like the house of blues.Eddie says he will have to get back with them because he doesn't know what the fuck is going on or what the fuck is going on his house right now.The reason Eddie said that was because it was the middle of the night.They later say they are still waiting to hear back from him.Buy this issue!!!!!

Maybe Eddie used the "HOUSE" reference just simply meaning that he has no idea whats going on in general... I doubt it's REALLY his house holding things up...

I picked up one today after work at Tower Records so yea it hit the stands already. It's got some very cool pics in it and some cool shit in there about the Early days from high school right on up to the first album. GW also goes album by album and writes atleast two to three paragraphs on them. Beautiful Girls and And the Cradle Will Rock are featured in the tab transcribtions. Its got a damn cool interview with Dime and the Wyld man. And also a piece on Aerosmith near the beginning of the mag saying that they're going back to their blues roots for their next album which is good to hear. But anywho, pick up the mag its got some cool shit in it. Thought the piece could have been a bit bigger involving the sammy era and gary's but oh well. It didnt have anything new other then the story of Zakk calling EVH in the middle of the night and waking him up which caused Ed to hang up on him about five or six times till he finally asked "What the fuck do you want!" If those three get together on an album its gonna be fuckin KILLER! I hope they light a spark under Ed cause it sounds like he needs it.

I got the mag at a local record store called Headstones.I have a subscription but for some reason this place gets it before mine comes in the mail,kinda odd I thought too.The pictures are by Neil Zlozower.I have seen pictures of his in mags and on his site but these are different.They are from the 78 to 84.They do a break down of like a timeline of different people talking about VH from the start of the band.But no new news,they talk about Dave suing at the end and asked Where have all the good times gone.Also have a ad with Ed for his guitar.

Sweet deal. Told you guys to keep your eyes peeled by this weekend cuz some spots put it out way before others. Either way it should be out everywhere by next week.
And you dont have to be a subscriber at all. Although I highly recommend subscribing cuz the mag is killer and it's only 20 bucks a year to subscribe! 12 issues for 20 bucks is sweet. Buying it in stores adds up to much more.
Just go to your local Barnes & Noble, Tower Records, Virgin Records, Guitar Center etc..
Just call 'em up and ask for the March 2003 issue of Guitar World Magazine. It should have Zakk Wylde & Dimebag Darrell on the cover with a pic of Eddie VH over them on the corner...
The mag is usally around 5 bucks in stores.
