...who deserves entry into the modern rock guitar players hall of fame the most is it randy rhodes who died so young and with tremendous potential snuffed out or is it qr's carlos cavazo or is it warren demartini or what about that dude blues saraceno who i've only heard on a couple of poison ditties but he seemed quite capable and then there were those shredsters from mr. big and those shrapnel dudes they sure could tear up a fretboard and the mind searches for other greats like george lynch and steve lynch and the two guys from night ranger it seems every major city had it's smokin' guitar greats back in those days and then what about that guy from david lee roth's band van halen he was pretty good he could play and some of the songs made it to top forty radio which is more than can be said for most and maybe he is the one most worthy of our respect and induction into some guitar of six-string hall of fame deal you know what i mean?

Dudes like Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Tony Iommi
and others are shoe-ins in my book(though the Hall is so lame ya never know). I wanna see more obscure guys get in, like Rory Gallagher. Now there is a fiery Irishman who wailed the blues amazingly. Or Peter Green, the leader of the original(and best) version of Fleetwood Mac. When the Mac was THE premier blues band in England back from the mid-late 60's.. Even freaks like Allan Holdsworth should be in. Either as a inductee or at least having a display there. Alvin Lee, Django Reinhardt, Rick Neilsen, Michael Schenker, Uli Roth.. All the dudes who played in freakin Steely Dan! hehe, they would have to open a wing just for all those guys..

If you're going to include Carlos Cavazo and Warren DeMartini on your list of potential induction candidates, you might as well add C.C. DeVille and Mick Mars. Now them guys was the BOMB!

Sabbath is the most obvious ones left out. How Ozzy and Tony don't get what they deserve is beyond me.

Ozzy keeps telling them to leave him and Sabbath out of consideration. Rhoads could really go in as a sideman, though...

Has Jimi Hendrix been inducted?
He is the MOST deserving, IMO.

I can't say of one that is most deserving, but the MOST deserving are the following, in no particular order:
Jimmy Hendrix
Jimmy Page
Eric Clapton
SRV
EVH
I think that every guitar player on the planet can trace their roots or style back to these guys. You can lead a horse to water, but that still won't make him a duck!
