I hope that Sammy wasn't just bullshitting because I am looking forward to this show.

Dave's BBQ atmosphere and Sammy's Cabo Cantina seem like such a natural combination. After all, whether you were a Dave fan or Sammy fan, it is clear that the "fun" in Van Halen came from them. When left to his own devices, Ed released the most humorless, stale, boring VH ever.

I would love for Dave and Sammy to do a festival type thing. Pick some up and coming bands to open for them, put together a Club Dave/Cabo Wabo sideshow (a la Ozzfest without the Goth), and make it a day long party.

That certainly would be one hell of a party! Waboritas and a BBQ sounds like a great combination.
