Why are we still here?

What hasn't been talked about, fought over, discussed, a million times already?

If VH in any form, and I'm an Ed fan, I like the guy's music, I really don't care if he's lied, stolen, done drugs, been mean to anyone, etc. I would just like to hear some new music from him, I'll buy it, end of story.

And when it comes out, I'll hear about it somewhere, probably not here.

One last thing then I'll go. Bands that are working on records now are planning release dates as far out as April 2003. If VH had anything coming out soon, we would've heard about it by now, so maybe I'll check back for any updates sometime in May...

A lot of the old regulars from about 18 months ago seem to have dropped out of sight. That's a sad sign when the most hardcore fans have gotten so apathetic.

But I'm still positive they'll be back in some form or another.

For me, it's not even about Van Halen anymore. Nor do I care about Sammy's solo career, or if he comes back to VH or not. I am also done with defending the indefensible, Roth. Each one of these clowns bears some responsibility for what is (or is not) Van Halen.

I will say this - the music that everyone talks about, that everyone loves, has one common denominator: Ed, Alex and Mike.

So the last CD sucked - it actually sucked vocally, rather than instrumentally, if you ask me. If they get the right vocalist, there could be magic again... They just have to try

We're even worse than the dorks who play Dungeons and Dragons.

But that's just how good this band was, that we hang around here everyday.

But I take solace in the fact that I'm not the guy paying $300 a month for this board. [img]graemlins/scared.gif[/img]

It's like being in a traffic jam. There are a couple of off ramps that you can take to get off the freeway. But you feel as though they'll clear the "problem" and traffic will start to flow again and you'll quickly be on your way.

After a few hours.....or in our case.......a few years......you say screw it......I've waited this long.......what's another couple of years.

i took a long break from the boards for awhile, and a shorter break from VH. things still seem fresh for me, but i don't know how much of that is because i'm getting older and hate all the young people "culture" out there. i'd rather go through another dave vs. sammy thread than listen to korn or creed, sit through another brittny spears commercial or ever watch a j-lo movie. (mulligan - i will go see kevin smith's jersey girl but that's inspite of lopez)

Hey! Trekkies aren't losers you big... meanie! My mom says that there's nothing wrong with a 32 year old wearing spock ears. And Dungeons & Dragons rules! You'd like it too if you'd just give is a try. I'm having a week-long marathon at my... my mothers house in the basement. You all are invited.
