Brett, I don't know exactly what the deal was with this but I saw the message this morning. I freakin live here dude, its like going home and being locked out of your house and told you can't come back. I can see your point with all the slamming that goes on here but I can guarantee you that most of us love to come here for other reasons. Keep it up man we all appreciate what you do here, I can only imagine the emails you got regarding that lol.

If you were to take a poll here I can bet that nobody that comes here would want this place shut down, I can tell you that a show of support is the fact that there are hundreds of people logged on at any given point. Thanks for everything Brett, hang in there [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

You know, i used to come here for news, this was and is the best place to find out new stuff about Van Halen. VHND is great, too.

BUT...lately I realized I come here for comfort, knowing you all are into Van Halen as much as I am and knowing we all have a place to vent and meet and communicate and share news and thoughts til Van Halen comes back from the void.

I'm not really that impressed by the behaviour exhibited by moderators at either forum - for some reason the some of the moderators here have chosen to give those lifetime losers at the armpit reason to claim some nebulous "higher moral ground". You're fighting over qa big pile of dick-all, guys.

The level of discussion has hit a new low everywhere and thus there is very little to attract new members. I don't blame Brett for thinking about bringing his site down and I question those mods who seem to make some continuing and senseless conflict their raison d'etre. Enough.

As for me, I'm officially bored. Those who wonder where I have been lately should just take that into consideration. I haven't "run away" and I haven't "given up". I just don't care.

Well, I don't know what a fuckin raison deter is, and really don't care. But your comment about the army somehow having high ground is completely inaccurate. Months ago, sarge gave both brett and my passwords to hitch to have a ball with at the army. This is like my DLR letter to the fans in 96'. The army did it. It was all in the fun of being mean spirited and rivalistic. We retaliated and upped the stakes. Now, they try to hold some holier than thou attitude and spread lies about this site. They call us hypocritical when they lit the first match? [img]graemlins/wtf.gif[/img] Believe them if you want to, but look who you are believing. Hitch runs that place. Nobody else. Go ahead and believe hitch and hitch's army.

Don't try to tell anybody that moderators here are bringing this site down buddy, when all you do here is look to stir shit up and argue at a level that is exactly befitting of the army in which you so much despise.
