I just saw that MTV commercial

The one with just the HFT video in it, and says MTV's first love, than it just says tune in to tha anniversary special August 1st. It's real wierd for a commercial like this! Let's cross our fingers for good things [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

you guys are looking to far into this. they are just showing old video and the pioneers of the heavy rock genere, nothing else. oh and prob fooling VH fans so they will watch hence more ratings. lol

Nothing will happen on the live program.

Now, if I was at home around 9:30-10:30 am EDT I would have watched, since they were showing selected videos from each year from 1981 to the present with about 30 minutes devoted to a single year. That time would have hit around 1984-1985.
