Why bother for them to continue with that farse of a web-site?
They have nothing new to add anymore.
They are finished, Eddie thanks for the memories, Alex where did you go?
Mike, Run away from them now and don't look back.
Now that Sam & Dave are touring and are trying to build a possible friendship, no reunion is gonna happen. I am not wasting my time with Eddie anymore.
To me VHLINKS is now called Sam & Dave Links.'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

To sell geetars and be the official site with the trademark stuff dontcha know? Ya know they still have that "this day in history" don't they? At least they have their history...

Minds are like parachutes. They only function when they are open.--Sir James Dewar, Scientist (1877-1925)

It is amazing how much some people can do with so little, however, what is even more amazing to me is how little some people can do with so much.

If Scotty Ross is really responsible for the Dave-Sammy pairing, $tark$ is probably trying to con him into being the webmaster of the new www.daveandsammy.com website.
Eat Us And Smile
Welcome back, Van HALEN!!!!
...It's the BAND and Dave is really the cat that can front VH. He sang his ASS off and was really cool. No cheese here guys, this is filet Mignon! - Steve Lukather's comment after witnessing a Van HALEN 2007 rehearsal

Does everyone here really think they are trying to build a friendship?
The pessimist says the cup is half empty. The optimist says it's half full. The pragmatist says its liquid contents are at 50% capacity. The ironist says its half full of air. The plumber says the cup must be leaking. George Carlin says the cup is too big. The Starbucks employee says its so you have room for cream. The conspiracy theorist says aliens took the other half. The baseball player says his cup is definitely full. MacGuyver says he can build a powerful explosive with it. The psychoanalyst says the cup is your mother. The punk sitting next to you also says the cup is your mother. The romance novelist says the cup is a willing receptacle to the wild gushing torrents of pure passion from the hard chiseled urn. The zen master says There is no cup. Pamela Anderson says her cups are definitely full. Me? Refill!

Why bother? Are you kidding me? What kind of a fan are you? It is a website that's just chock full of info. For example, did you know that the numbers on the blackboard in the "Hot For Teacher" video correspond to "Holy Shit" backwards? Or what the painting looks like that made up the cover of Fair Warning? Or that "Top Jimmy" was written about an L.A. based rock group called Top Jimmy and the Rhythm Pigs?
And of course, the Pleasure Dome is coming back a little later down the road, bigger and better than ever. Therefore you just have to check every day to make sure you don't miss the grand reopening!

You said it best, Lou. The website should just be a splash screen that says, "No news is good news". That's it.

There is nothing new to look at. I remember when Gary was touring with VH, it was a good site, but that was four years ago. Although this does make one ponder if the DLRarmy site will need to be re-missioned... As a historically anti-Sammy:Hold the Cheese site this new found business relationship/public friendship act somewhat undermines their their gig... Kinda a shame given the unique personality the place has built for itself...Woke up this mornin, got Blue Moon in your eyes...

I maintain that the ONLY reason they have that website anymore is so that no one else takes the domain name. It may have been a great promotional tool 4 years ago, but there's no purpose for it now.

How is van-halen.com different from any other corporate website? It's all slick packaging and no substance.
Go to www.x-files.com once and tell me they have a lot of useful information there compared to the content of v-h.com."Just once I'd like to do the right thing and not get punished for it."
