Brad is just jealous!

Thanks for coming in and, in your subtle way, discrediting Sherman. I'm sure your reason would be that Sherman wasn't doing us any favors and I'm sure you felt obligated to step in. Well, thanks a hell of a lot!

It is plain to see to me that brad was just jealous of Sherman. That really irks the shit out of me! It is like brad thinks that VH is his band, and that he is the only one that knows them and nobody else can know them like he does. So what does he do, he runs around the internet policeing all the information being discussed about VH.

A lot of us have emailed brad and tried to get info from him and he can't commit or is real vague or whatever and that is because he does have inside info and he knows the band would not want him making comments on that info. I understand that! Brad runs the official site and has a relationship with the band where he can not run around flapping his mouth about all the info he knows. I do have a feeling Brad will be able to talk more freely about all of this once it is out in the open and the band is touring.

Bottom line Brad is this! You are not the only one that knows VH. You can't have it both ways, you can't want to be the only source for real VH info and not say anything! If you have no info to offer then run the official site and stay off our boards and let us talk. If you have something to say, then lets hear it! But this running around and popping up and trying to make someone look bad because you are jealous that you aren't the one with all the attention and then dissapearing is bullshit! I don't think the band pays you to run around the internet telling people what to say and what not to say!

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks this Brad character is full of himself. So he is tight with the band, who cares he has offered no insight into the band whatsoever. "No news is good news" la de freaking da. This dude runs the official site and has nothing of substance on it. How hard would it be to have a little info on what is happeneing? He wouldn't have to say who the singer is but a little info on how the recordings are going and when approximately we might see something new is all we ask. Hell we know DLR is the man. That is not hard to figure out.
It makes me sick for him to think he is the ONLY insider with a little info. He rides up on his white horse and a lot of people try to kiss his ass. Screw it, show me some substance. At least some of the other supposed insiders were at least interesting and we could get a conversation going.
Sorry to some of you if this sounds harsh. I respect most everyone's opinion on this board whether I agree or don't, but the arrogance this dude shows just pisses me off. What evidence has he given that he is the only correct person with insider news? It is wrong for him to pop his head in here and supposedly discredit someone with no ounce of proof on his own. Whether he is the webmaster or not he has done nothing to help with info.

Jealous probably not. But if you're supposed to keep your mouth shut then do so. Obviously his hands are tied but 'I talked to Alex and Mike in LA this week' is just arrogance.

Let's not forget though that Bradman was here right at the time that the board changed servers.....he was still logged on when it went down. Maybe he was going to say more about Sherman? Maybe he realized who Sherman was after that?

You think Brad Starks will give more or less info based on what people say at bulletin boards?????? C'mon he's just an employee doing as he's told. But there are ways and ways to respond to things. He could have just said the NYDN story was incorrect, but he had to tell everyone he spoke to Mike and Alex this week.

yea, i don't want to piss brad off! he is on here giving all kinds of info. any info we get from brad will be on the VH.com!

don't get me wrong, brad has got a great job! people, i understand he can't talk about stuff, i don't mind that! i don't like the fact he thinks he is the only one that knows anything and it seems to me that he doesn't like anyone else that does, on the internet at least! he just pops up here to discredit someone and then is never seen again! why would he bother with sherman, he doesn't bother correcting any of the other stuff posted on here. brad felt threatened, that's why!

sherman was a breath of fresh air and helped a lot on this board. he added excitement to the board while we all waited to hear something. sherman wasn't going to nor did he rat on the band and what was happening. he kept us steered in the right direction by squashing rumors. he even gave us the info on the Mitch M. thing! i thought that was great! maybe some of you already knew about it, but i didn't! that was the kind of stuff we needed to get us through until we heard something.

now that i think about it, i believe the Mitch M. thing is what bugged brad. no, i don't believe the sherman saying he WAS offered and brad saying he WASN'T offered is what bugged brad. again, it's the fact that someone gave us some info besides him, and that threatened him. me and a best buddy can go out and recall something that happened that night two slightly different ways. WHO CARES if he was offered and didn't take it or if he was never offered! the fact is their was some interest on both sides and the info was given to us by sherman!

i enjoyed seeing if there was a new post by sherman, and as usual a small few ruin it for the majority! at least i think the majority enjoyed having him here.

brad, you have a great site, but right now you have a conflict of interest of sorts by coming on here. until you are able to talk more freely, i for one wish you would stay away. of course, it doesn't matter much now that sherman has been run off!

I believe you're right when you say that Brad was ticked about not being numero uno in regards to info being passed on the board.

The post he made in regards to Sherman were petty.

Yet some peeps ran to him, dropped their pants, and begged him to insert.

Sherman never went out of his way to say boo about anyone. But Brad felt the need to TRY to discredit him.

My question is, "Why?"

He hasn't done it to anyone else.

I really hope that someone else with inside info joins the links and posts just to see how long it takes Mr. "No News Is Good News"/"cyberspace and beyond" to pick THEM apart.

I'd love to see Brad's face when he finds out who Sherman REALLY is.

I can understand your concern about Brad Starks teasing us. Teasing Die Hard VH fans is not to fucking smart. First Sherman, now Brad. "Brad, if your not going to spill your guts, then don't pop up every once in a while and TEASE us." That only makes things worse. Please, tell us the inside story. Fuck the ANNOUNCEMENT. I think he forget's where he came from. He used to be just like us at one time. Standing in long ass lines to get tickets, hanging out at the back of the arena to catch a glimpse of Van Halen. He has lost touch with all Van Halen fans and frankly, it seems he doesn't care enough about us, the fans. It's sad if you think about it.
