Van Halen made my day today!

I was pumped up for my workup this afternoon. I had a good lunch, followed by a LARGE dose of coffee to get me "not so naturally wired". I walked in to the health club to pump, and I heard "A'int Talk About Love" on the overhead speakers. I hummed along a bit, and sung the words. The guy working in the front desk held up a black CD, and said, "Oh yeah, we're pumping Van Halen's greatest hits today!"

It was cool. I heard the whole CD! [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

But the guy did tell me that DLR-VH was his favorite, and that he had nothing against Sammy Hagar, but he didn't really like those songs. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]

But "Can't Stop Loving You" played anyway! I was waiting for him to change CDs after "Panama", but he didn't! Van halen lives on, despite themselves! [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]

That's cool. Today in my computer class my teacher played BOV1 on her speakers for the whole class.

LOL @ seenbad! You're right! I'm a huge fan of Sammy era VH, but I have to admit this. When working out today, I was bouncing off the walls to "Unchained", "Cradle", "Panama" and so forth.

But the opening bars of "When it's Love" kinda lowered my level of performance [img]graemlins/drunk.gif[/img]

"Dreams", "Right Now", "Poundcake" and "Human's Being" got me going though! [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

I had the Halen cranked on the treadmill today.

Unfortunately, I didn't get very far. I got thru Unchained, GGB, Me Wise Magic and a few Y&T songs before the guy at the counter yelled

"HEY! Get your fat ass outta here! We're closed now!" [img]graemlins/yell.gif[/img]

That wasn't too nice, I thought to myself. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]
