i know if u go to www.yahoo.com and then write alt.music.van halen in the search engine, it gives u a cool discussion area. read the posts by professor fink. hes hilarious. other then that the only vh chat room i went to had no one on so i didnt chat at all.

I'm pretty sure there's one over at the dlr army. ie www.dlrarmy.com . I've never tried it or even looked into it so I don't know what its like or even if I am right in saying that there's one there, but I think theres one at the army. And is you really believe "VHwasCoolestWithDLR" then you should enjoy your time over there.

I just set up a chat room. On AOL....in the arts and entertainment section...the chat room is called VAN HALEN.....so anybody who wants to go there and has an AOL account...let's talk!!!!! I will be in there for about an hour or so. IT is 8:00pm New York Time!!!!

Thanks for the welcome back Yankee Rose!!! It has been awhile since I posted here. I think the last time I posted I wrote a very long letter to everybody.....it was just to let everyboidy know that we will have something in the future but we must be supportive to the band since we are not going through what those guys are. I have been checking this all the time but I got a little tired from all the BS rumors and so called dates. Not getting an attutiude about it....I am just sitting back and biding my time. I actually just wrote a play and put it up in NYC for an Off-Off Broadway production...and I mention Van Halen in it and Vh is playing in the background.

If you want to be able to chat right here you have to vote! I would like to chat while I read the forums. Noone is ever in any of the other chat rooms but someone is always on VHlinks. I dont see why some people on here are chatophobic. They seem to think it will be the ruination of VHLinks. Well I read sports forums which also have chat and they seem to coincide very well together.

I would love to see a chat room here, but I understand the reluctance. From what Ive seen on other sites, chat rooms have a way of deteriorating into "Hey, Lead Synth, what'cha wearing?" (Not that I really want to know, but we've had our fair share of threads dedicated to almost this subject)

Chatrooms are just like these forums... you can CHOOSE to use them or not. Its not like you will be instantly transported to the Chatroom if they put one on here. I think most linkers are likeable average people who are mostly above the ages where the talk would center around what other linkers are wearing. And the nice thing is if you dont like the chat you just stay in the forums but I would like to chat especially in the next couple of months as things really get going on the Van Halen news front (hopefully).
