VH1's "A Night With"

Hello All,

I lurk at the Links almost every day and really enjoy the discussions (well, except the Sammy vs. Dave ones : ).

Just wanted to let you know that VH1 will be airing a show on Saturday, December 14th at 2:30pm and 10pm EST called “A Night With”. One of the segments will feature my story about meeting and partying with Van Halen in Portland, Oregon in 1993 and how it inspired me to become a singer/songwriter.

It was a great evening…got to meet all of the band members, take pics etc. at a special meet and greet function the night before their concert. Afterwards I invited Michael, Alex, Scotty Ross and the tour accountant to join me in the bar…and they did! The guys were just the best…really down to earth and friendly.

Please tune in and watch the show. It should be a really positive story about Van Halen and their influence on my life.

A night with...hmm. Seems like I made a post about that show a while back, but I thought it was mtv's fanatic. But I looked at your site and you kind of look like the fella that was on that show (but with shorter hair at the time). I wonder if I have my shows messed up?

Anyways, hell yeah man, I'll check that out. I think I went to that halen show here in 93 (portland) as well. Very cool.

Unfortunately, I haven't had any contact with the band since then. Although I did e-mail Bradman about the show [img]smile.gif[/img]

I was never on MTV's fanatic...this is a brand new gig.

Hi All,

Got word late Friday that the show is being postponed until January. My segment was fine but they had problems with the censors on other segments. I'll keep everyone posted on the airdate.
