VH Gateway Commercial

This is just too fuckin' cool. I was flippin' thru the channels this morning when I happened upon about the last 10 seconds of a new Gateway commercial. It was showing people superimposing pictures of themselves on to different backrounds. Well,(deep breath) the dude in the commercial superimposes himself next to DLR in concert. It looks like a photo from the 1984 tour. Then in the corner it says something like ' Best wishes, Dave'. This is just too fuckin' cool. Van Halen is starting to let their presence be known. Of all the new hot bands out right now, ie, Britney, Butt Street boys, N'suck etc., Gateway chose to show Dave circa 1984. I can hear the thunder in the distance.

Im in the UK and over the past few weeks i have heard DLR and VH mentioned on the radio a couple of times. Although there was no mention of a reunion it is very rare to hear those names in our media.

I saw the commercial last night!

Actually, I was on the 'puter finalizing some work and I had the t.v. on...not really watching. I heard "Gateway" - maybe it was subconcious or something but I glanced over and it was the picture of Dave and this guy pasting his picture next to him.

Found myself laughing out loud.
